Rectus diastasis

Why do I still look pregnant?

Every woman has rectus diastasis during pregnancy. The term initially describes a physiological condition. This workshop is about what to do if the gap between the abdominal muscles does not stabilise on its own after the postpartum and recovery period, and if the abdomen still protrudes strongly forwards, you lack support and perhaps even your back hurts, it is important to take action.

We discuss the function of the centre of the body and how the abdominal muscles are connected to other body systems. We will dispel old myths and address the importance of loading and training. SPOILER: There will be no do's & don'ts as treatment and training for people with rectus diastasis is individualised.

At the end of the workshop, there will be space for a Q&A session where you can ask your questions and address personal concerns.

BACK TO RUNNING

When can I finally go jogging again?

This is one of the most frequently asked questions in my practice. The body has changed through pregnancy and birth. Stability in the torso as well as body statics. In this workshop, we will discuss the tools you need to successfully get back into running training. Using a battery of tests, you can check for yourself whether you are ready to put your running shoes back on.

If possible, bring your running shoes and sportswear. At the end of the workshop there will be space for a Q&A session where you can ask your questions and address personal concerns.

If you can, leave your baby with your partner on this date. This way you can concentrate fully on yourself.
