A COURSE FOR MIDWIVES WORKING IN OUT-OF-HOSPITAL OBSTETRICS

LEARNING OBJECTIVES

  • The NLS course is designed to give us confidence in dealing with sick newborns
  • The course should enable us to bridge the time until the paediatric emergency service arrives
  • The course includes an ERC certification

 

 

CONTENTS
  • This course takes into account the physiological characteristics of the newborn and is based on the new guidelines of the European Resuscitation Council
  • We learn all the necessary first aid and resuscitation measures for newborn babies. This is partly theoretical, but mostly practical in small groups using various manikins

 

 

IMPORTANT
  • The course fee also includes certification
  • The course comprises 10 training hours in the emergency category
