PRENATAL CARE
PREGNANCY
_____________________________________________________________
The Pregnancy check-ups are based on the maternity guidelines. They take place every four weeks and every fortnight from the 28th week of pregnancy. These include
- Blood and urine tests
- Blood pressure measurement
- Weight control
- Nutritional counseling
- Checking the child's heartbeat
- Assessment of the regular growth of your child
The appointments during pregnancy are very important in order to get to know each other well and build up a relationship of mutual trust. If any abnormalities occur, our midwives will refer you to medical staff for further clarification or diagnostics.
All costs are covered by statutory and private health insurance companies. One exception is the on-call flat rate - this is often only partially covered by health insurance and is therefore usually a self-payment service.
