What is a pelvic floor check-up?
In addition, an ultrasound device is used to visually check the effectiveness of pelvic floor utilisation. The results are analysed and a therapy plan is drawn up to achieve the desired therapeutic goals. Based on the findings, the physiotherapeutic measures are discussed and, if desired, a home exercise programme is put together.

Juliana Afram is a sectoral alternative practitioner for physiotherapy and a physiotherapist with a particular passion for pelvic floor therapy. With 25 years of experience in Pilates and yoga, she has not only constantly honed her own skills, but has also passed on her knowledge as an instructor at home and abroad. She is currently training in osteopathy in order to expand her therapeutic approaches.
As a mum of two, Juliana knows from her own experience how important healthy body awareness is. Her mission is to educate people about their bodies so that they can make informed choices.
