Let's found a birth centre - PART IV

What happened so far...

PART IV

It's time again to keep you up to date: Welcome to part 4 of our „What's happened so far“ blog.

We are now starting in a very similar way to the last blog: we are in advanced negotiations about a very suitable space for the House of Birth and Health!

...huh? Haven't we been there before?

Yes... Well: the area we wrote about last time didn't turn out to be so suitable at very short notice. Mainly because it became clear that we would have had to live with a lot of demolition and construction noise there and that's not ideal for a birth centre.

But luckily there is now this other area that we have had our eye on since the summer.
For superstitious reasons, we will only announce the location after the contract has been signed, which is very soon.
We are now pretty much in love with our future house and are keeping our fingers crossed that everything will go smoothly this time. (Please keep the pressure on)!

Recently, as announced, our Crowdfunding launched. We are absolutely delighted that the page has already been shared so diligently. Thank you very much! It really helps a lot, which fortunately is already reflected in the donations.

We will use the crowdfunding proceeds for 100% to renovate and furnish the birth centre. Our current house also needs to be remodelled, which is currently being planned.

(This great trailer for our fundraising campaign was sent to us by  MANTIKOR FILM
as a gift!)

We now need to move forward quickly so that we can also offer the first birth centre births from January 2022. At the moment, we are happy to continue supporting home births - as soon as our centre is properly established on two legs, we will focus more and more on birth centre births.

There has already been a very important expansion of our range of services: a few weeks ago, our MIDWIFE OUTPATIENT CLINIC in the Rothenburgsort Parents' School - a place for midwifery support and counselling on all aspects of pregnancy, postnatal care, breastfeeding and nutrition in the first year of life.
You see, it remains exciting!!! Who knows, maybe the start-up phase will actually be over soon and the next blog will be full of remodelling photos.

Oh, that would be great! 🙂 🙂 🙂
