To complement our team, we are looking for a midwife with or without professional experience in the field of pregnancy and postnatal care, midwife outpatient clinic and course area, with approx. 15-20 hours per week or more from 01.10.2025.

 

The House for Birth and Health, Midwives Brown & Partners opened in February 2022. We are a team of 11 midwives, divided into three teams with and without obstetric care. We work holistically across the entire care continuum, caring for women, people with uteruses* and their partners throughout pregnancy and the postpartum period, both on an outreach and outpatient basis in the birth centre. In addition to the original midwifery work, the birth centre also offers psychological consultations, osteopathy, baby massage, first aid courses, parenting courses and services for orphaned parents.

 

In our team, an anti-racist attitude and a feminist mindset are very important to us.

Are you at least 18 years old, show initiative, have a quick mind and feel confident and comfortable with the German language?

Non-clinical practical assignments

We offer out-of-hospital placements for trainee midwives throughout the year. To gain an insight into our values and work ethic, you can contact our vision statement familiarise yourself with it.

Social Media Manager (d/w/m)

As of 1 March 2024, we are looking for reinforcement on a mini-job basis to manage the social media accounts of the Haus für Geburt und Gesundheit!

 

As a social media manager, you will maintain our social media accounts, design our posts and work with the team on the texts. You will also interact with our Instagram community and ensure a well-rounded presence with posts, stories, surveys and more.

 

You...

  • has a passion for creating content for social media
  • enjoy formulating texts confidently
  • have already created content for your own or third-party social media accounts
  • ideally have an obstetric background or a solid knowledge of out-of-hospital obstetrics from other contexts

Midwife wanted (d/w/m) in the obstetrics team

We are looking for a full-time (32 hours/week) midwife, ideally with experience in out-of-hospital obstetrics, to join our birth centre team this summer/autumn.

 

The House for Birth and Health, Midwives Brown & Partners opened in February 2022. We care for women, people with uteruses and their partners in the birth centre before or during the entire pregnancy, attend around 150 births a year in one-to-one care, work in teams of two and three and see ourselves as primary care providers. We provide partial postnatal care depending on where you live. An anti-racist attitude and a feminist mindset are very important to us in all our work.

 

Our health centre is still under construction and currently offers a psychological consultation, a toddler group and a varied programme of courses.
