ACUPUNCTURE CONSULTATION

We offer an acupuncture consultation at the Haus für Geburt und Gesundheit. Acupuncture can be helpful during pregnancy and after the birth for any complaints and also for some breastfeeding problems.

 

Topics may include:

  • Nausea, vomiting
  • Tiredness, weakness
  • Water retention (oedema)
  • Premature labour
  • Constipation
  • Varicose veins
  • Back pain
  • birth preparation classes
  • BEL (breech presentation)
  • Breastfeeding problems
  • Support for regression
  • weaning

 

 

Acupuncture can also help and be used to support the desire to have children or a pregnancy loss (miscarriage).

ANTENATAL ACUPUNCTURE

(weekly from the 36th week of pregnancy) with preliminary discussion

Pre-natal acupuncture has a relaxing and balancing effect and reduces discomfort towards the end of pregnancy. It is intended to shorten the opening phase of labour by stimulating contractions and leading to better maturation of the cervix.

It also has a general balancing effect and reduces water retention and heartburn.

 

Pre-natal acupuncture takes place weekly from the 36th week of pregnancy. We currently offer individual appointments, as there is a lot of peace and time here and acupuncture can work so well in our eyes.

 

Please wear comfortable clothes for the acupuncture that you can pull up above the knee. Please also bring your maternity pass and your insurance card if you are not under regular care with us.

Wednesdays 09:00 - 13:00 and by individual arrangement on other days.

Acupuncture is not regularly covered by health insurance, but there is sometimes a subsidy. We will be happy to inform you about additional costs.
